General worker
The National Library is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the post of General Worker. The Scheme of Service for the post is available here, click to download.
Applicants are requested to either download the Application Form for General Worker or to collect same from the Reception Counter of the National Library, 2nd Floor, Fon Sing Building, 12, Edith Cavell Street, Port Louis, from 09.00 to 15.30 hrs (Monday to Friday).
The completed application form (in hard copy), together with photocopies of: birth certificate, marriage certificate (if applicable), National Identity Card, academic certificates and any other documentary evidence, in sealed envelope should reach the Director, National Library, 2nd Floor, Fon Sing Building, 12, Edith Cavell Street, Port Louis, not later than 15.30 hrs by Thursday 28th September 2023.
Age Limit: Applicant should not be over 48 years of age at the closing date, unless already employed in the Public Sector.
Application not made on the Application Form for General Worker will be rejected.
The envelope should clearly be marked “General Worker” on the top.
The National Library reserves the right to:
- Call only the best candidates for interview; and
- Not to make any appointment as a result of this advertisement.
